Privacy Policy
Your trust matters. This page explains, in plain language, what little data this site uses, how advertising works, and the choices you have. Last updated: 13 June 2026.
The short version
AMAADOR ISLAM has no accounts, no logins and no servers that store your personal data. Your progress — Qur'an reading counts, dhikr totals, streaks, prayer settings and your chosen language — is saved only in your own browser (in localStorage) and never leaves your device through us. You can clear it any time by clearing your browser data.
What we store on your device
- Your preferences and progress — language choice, hasanat counts, dhikr tracker, prayer-time method and saved location, stored locally under keys such as
bsi_lang,bsi_quranandbsi_dhikr. This stays on your device. - No analytics account is required to read the site. We do not ask you to sign in or hand over personal information to use anything here.
Microphone (Tilawah recitation app)
The Tilawah voice-recitation feature uses your device's microphone only while you are actively reciting, and the audio is processed by your browser's built-in speech recognition. We do not record, store or transmit your voice to any server of ours. You can use the "tap" mode instead if you prefer not to grant microphone access.
Cookies and advertising
This site is supported by Google AdSense, a third-party advertising service. To show ads, Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies:
- Google uses the DoubleClick / advertising cookie to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites.
- Third-party vendors may show personalized or non-personalized ads depending on your settings and region.
- You can manage or opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings and aboutads.info/choices. You can learn how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
If you are visiting from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we present a consent choice before personalized ads and non-essential cookies are used, in line with GDPR and ePrivacy rules. You may withdraw or change that consent at any time.
Other third-party services
- Donations are processed by Stripe. If you choose to donate, Stripe handles your payment details directly under Stripe's privacy policy; we never see or store your card information.
- Google Fonts are used for typography and may load font files from Google's servers.
- The Qur'an reader and recitation tools may load Qur'anic text and tafsir from public Islamic data sources; no personal data is sent to them.
Children
This site is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

- Clear your saved progress and preferences by clearing this site's data in your browser.
- Block or delete cookies through your browser settings (some ads may then be less relevant).
- Opt out of personalized ads using the links above.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site grows or as advertising and privacy rules change. The "last updated" date above will always reflect the latest version.
