يُسَبِّحُyusabbiḥu Glorifiesلِلَّهِlillahi [to] Allahمَاmā whateverفِىfī (is) inٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِl-samāwāti the heavensوَمَاwamā and whateverفِىfī (is) inٱلْأَرْضِ ۖl-arḍi the earthلَهُlahu For Himٱلْمُلْكُl-mul'ku (is the) dominionوَلَهُwalahu and for Himٱلْحَمْدُ ۖl-ḥamdu (is) the praiseوَهُوَwahuwa And Heعَلَىٰʿalā (is) onكُلِّkulli everyشَىْءٍۢshayin thingقَدِيرٌqadīrun All-Powerful١
هُوَhuwa Heٱلَّذِىalladhī (is) the One Whoخَلَقَكُمْkhalaqakum created youفَمِنكُمْfaminkum and among youكَافِرٌۭkāfirun (is) a disbelieverوَمِنكُمwaminkum and among youمُّؤْمِنٌۭ ۚmu'minun (is) a believerوَٱللَّهُwal-lahu And Allahبِمَاbimā of whatتَعْمَلُونَtaʿmalūna you doبَصِيرٌbaṣīrun (is) All-Seer٢
خَلَقَkhalaqa He createdٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِl-samāwāti the heavensوَٱلْأَرْضَwal-arḍa and the earthبِٱلْحَقِّbil-ḥaqi with truthوَصَوَّرَكُمْwaṣawwarakum and He formed youفَأَحْسَنَfa-aḥsana and made goodصُوَرَكُمْ ۖṣuwarakum your formsوَإِلَيْهِwa-ilayhi and to Himٱلْمَصِيرُl-maṣīru (is) the final return٣
يَعْلَمُyaʿlamu He knowsمَاmā whatفِىfī (is) inٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِl-samāwāti the heavensوَٱلْأَرْضِwal-arḍi and the earthوَيَعْلَمُwayaʿlamu and He knowsمَاmā whatتُسِرُّونَtusirrūna you concealوَمَاwamā and whatتُعْلِنُونَ ۚtuʿ'linūna you declareوَٱللَّهُwal-lahu And Allahعَلِيمٌۢʿalīmun (is) All-Knowingبِذَاتِbidhāti of whatٱلصُّدُورِl-ṣudūri (is in) the breasts٤
أَلَمْalam Has notيَأْتِكُمْyatikum come to youنَبَؤُا۟naba-u (the) newsٱلَّذِينَalladhīna (of) those whoكَفَرُوا۟kafarū disbelievedمِنmin fromقَبْلُqablu beforeفَذَاقُوا۟fadhāqū So they tastedوَبَالَwabāla (the bad) consequenceأَمْرِهِمْamrihim (of) their affairوَلَهُمْwalahum and for themعَذَابٌʿadhābun (is) a punishmentأَلِيمٌۭalīmun painful٥
ذَٰلِكَdhālika Thatبِأَنَّهُۥbi-annahu (is) becauseكَانَتkānat hadتَّأْتِيهِمْtatīhim come to themرُسُلُهُمrusuluhum their Messengersبِٱلْبَيِّنَـٰتِbil-bayināti with clear proofsفَقَالُوٓا۟faqālū but they saidأَبَشَرٌۭabasharun Shall human beingsيَهْدُونَنَاyahdūnanā guide usفَكَفَرُوا۟fakafarū So they disbelievedوَتَوَلَّوا۟ ۚwatawallaw and turned awayوَّٱسْتَغْنَىwa-is'taghnā And can do without themٱللَّهُ ۚl-lahu Allahوَٱللَّهُwal-lahu And Allahغَنِىٌّghaniyyun (is) Self-sufficientحَمِيدٌۭḥamīdun Praiseworthy٦
زَعَمَzaʿama Claimٱلَّذِينَalladhīna those whoكَفَرُوٓا۟kafarū disbelieveأَنan thatلَّنlan neverيُبْعَثُوا۟ ۚyub'ʿathū will they be raisedقُلْqul Sayبَلَىٰbalā Yesوَرَبِّىwarabbī by my Lordلَتُبْعَثُنَّlatub'ʿathunna surely you will be raisedثُمَّthumma thenلَتُنَبَّؤُنَّlatunabba-unna surely you will be informedبِمَاbimā of whatعَمِلْتُمْ ۚʿamil'tum you didوَذَٰلِكَwadhālika And thatعَلَىʿalā forٱللَّهِl-lahi Allahيَسِيرٌۭyasīrun (is) easy٧
فَـَٔامِنُوا۟faāminū So believeبِٱللَّهِbil-lahi in Allahوَرَسُولِهِۦwarasūlihi and His Messengerوَٱلنُّورِwal-nūri and the Lightٱلَّذِىٓalladhī whichأَنزَلْنَا ۚanzalnā We have sent downوَٱللَّهُwal-lahu And Allahبِمَاbimā of whatتَعْمَلُونَtaʿmalūna you doخَبِيرٌۭkhabīrun (is) All-Aware٨
يَوْمَyawma (The) Dayيَجْمَعُكُمْyajmaʿukum He will assemble youلِيَوْمِliyawmi for (the) Dayٱلْجَمْعِ ۖl-jamʿi (of) the Assemblyذَٰلِكَdhālika thatيَوْمُyawmu (will be the) Dayٱلتَّغَابُنِ ۗl-taghābuni (of) mutual loss and gainوَمَنwaman And whoeverيُؤْمِنۢyu'min believesبِٱللَّهِbil-lahi in Allahوَيَعْمَلْwayaʿmal and doesصَـٰلِحًۭاṣāliḥan righteous deedsيُكَفِّرْyukaffir He will removeعَنْهُʿanhu from himسَيِّـَٔاتِهِۦsayyiātihi his evil deedsوَيُدْخِلْهُwayud'khil'hu and He will admit himجَنَّـٰتٍۢjannātin (to) Gardensتَجْرِىtajrī flowمِنmin fromتَحْتِهَاtaḥtihā underneath itٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُl-anhāru the riversخَـٰلِدِينَkhālidīna abidingفِيهَآfīhā thereinأَبَدًۭا ۚabadan foreverذَٰلِكَdhālika Thatٱلْفَوْزُl-fawzu (is) the successٱلْعَظِيمُl-ʿaẓīmu the great٩
وَٱلَّذِينَwa-alladhīna But those whoكَفَرُوا۟kafarū disbelievedوَكَذَّبُوا۟wakadhabū and deniedبِـَٔايَـٰتِنَآbiāyātinā [in] Our Versesأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَulāika thoseأَصْحَـٰبُaṣḥābu (are the) companionsٱلنَّارِl-nāri (of) the Fireخَـٰلِدِينَkhālidīna abiding foreverفِيهَا ۖfīhā thereinوَبِئْسَwabi'sa And wretched isٱلْمَصِيرُl-maṣīru the destination١٠
مَآmā Notأَصَابَaṣāba strikesمِنmin anyمُّصِيبَةٍmuṣībatin disasterإِلَّاillā exceptبِإِذْنِbi-idh'ni by (the) permissionٱللَّهِ ۗl-lahi (of) Allahوَمَنwaman And whoeverيُؤْمِنۢyu'min believesبِٱللَّهِbil-lahi in Allahيَهْدِyahdi He guidesقَلْبَهُۥ ۚqalbahu his heartوَٱللَّهُwal-lahu And Allahبِكُلِّbikulli of everyشَىْءٍshayin thingعَلِيمٌۭʿalīmun (is) All-Knowing١١
وَأَطِيعُوا۟wa-aṭīʿū So obeyٱللَّهَl-laha Allahوَأَطِيعُوا۟wa-aṭīʿū and obeyٱلرَّسُولَ ۚl-rasūla the Messengerفَإِنfa-in but ifتَوَلَّيْتُمْtawallaytum you turn awayفَإِنَّمَاfa-innamā then onlyعَلَىٰʿalā uponرَسُولِنَاrasūlinā Our Messengerٱلْبَلَـٰغُl-balāghu (is) the conveyanceٱلْمُبِينُl-mubīnu clear١٢
ٱللَّهُal-lahu Allahلَآlā (there is) noإِلَـٰهَilāha godإِلَّاillā exceptهُوَ ۚhuwa Himوَعَلَىwaʿalā And uponٱللَّهِl-lahi Allahفَلْيَتَوَكَّلِfalyatawakkali let put (their) trustٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَl-mu'minūna the believers١٣
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَاyāayyuhā Oٱلَّذِينَalladhīna (you) whoءَامَنُوٓا۟āmanū believeإِنَّinna Indeedمِنْmin fromأَزْوَٰجِكُمْazwājikum your spousesوَأَوْلَـٰدِكُمْwa-awlādikum and your childrenعَدُوًّۭاʿaduwwan (are) enemiesلَّكُمْlakum to youفَٱحْذَرُوهُمْ ۚfa-iḥ'dharūhum so beware of themوَإِنwa-in But ifتَعْفُوا۟taʿfū you pardonوَتَصْفَحُوا۟wataṣfaḥū and overlookوَتَغْفِرُوا۟wataghfirū and forgiveفَإِنَّfa-inna then indeedٱللَّهَl-laha Allahغَفُورٌۭghafūrun (is) Oft-Forgivingرَّحِيمٌraḥīmun Most Merciful١٤
إِنَّمَآinnamā Onlyأَمْوَٰلُكُمْamwālukum your wealthوَأَوْلَـٰدُكُمْwa-awlādukum and your childrenفِتْنَةٌۭ ۚfit'natun (are) a trialوَٱللَّهُwal-lahu and Allah عِندَهُۥٓʿindahu with Himأَجْرٌajrun (is) a rewardعَظِيمٌۭʿaẓīmun great١٥
فَٱتَّقُوا۟fa-ittaqū So fearٱللَّهَl-laha Allahمَاmā whatٱسْتَطَعْتُمْis'taṭaʿtum you are ableوَٱسْمَعُوا۟wa-is'maʿū and listenوَأَطِيعُوا۟wa-aṭīʿū and obeyوَأَنفِقُوا۟wa-anfiqū and spendخَيْرًۭاkhayran (it is) betterلِّأَنفُسِكُمْ ۗli-anfusikum for yourselvesوَمَنwaman And whoeverيُوقَyūqa is savedشُحَّshuḥḥa (from the) greedinessنَفْسِهِۦnafsihi (of) his soulفَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَfa-ulāika then thoseهُمُhumu [they]ٱلْمُفْلِحُونَl-muf'liḥūna (are) the successful ones١٦
إِنin Ifتُقْرِضُوا۟tuq'riḍū you loanٱللَّهَl-laha (to) Allahقَرْضًاqarḍan a loanحَسَنًۭاḥasanan goodlyيُضَـٰعِفْهُyuḍāʿif'hu He will multiply itلَكُمْlakum for youوَيَغْفِرْwayaghfir and will forgiveلَكُمْ ۚlakum youوَٱللَّهُwal-lahu And Allahشَكُورٌshakūrun (is) Most Appreciativeحَلِيمٌḥalīmun Most Forbearing١٧
عَـٰلِمُʿālimu (The) Knowerٱلْغَيْبِl-ghaybi (of) the unseenوَٱلشَّهَـٰدَةِwal-shahādati and the witnessedٱلْعَزِيزُl-ʿazīzu the All-Mightyٱلْحَكِيمُl-ḥakīmu the All-Wise١٨
