بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
وَوَضَعْنَاwawaḍaʿnā
And We removed عَنكَʿanka
from you وِزْرَكَwiz'raka
your burden ٢
And We removed عَنكَʿanka
from you وِزْرَكَwiz'raka
your burden ٢
And We removed from you your burden
ٱلَّذِىٓalladhī
Which أَنقَضَanqaḍa
weighed upon ظَهْرَكَẓahraka
your back ٣
Which أَنقَضَanqaḍa
weighed upon ظَهْرَكَẓahraka
your back ٣
Which had weighed upon your back
وَرَفَعْنَاwarafaʿnā
And We raised high لَكَlaka
for you ذِكْرَكَdhik'raka
your reputation ٤
And We raised high لَكَlaka
for you ذِكْرَكَdhik'raka
your reputation ٤
And raised high for you your repute.
فَإِنَّfa-inna
So indeed مَعَmaʿa
with ٱلْعُسْرِl-ʿus'ri
the hardship يُسْرًاyus'ran
(is) ease ٥
So indeed مَعَmaʿa
with ٱلْعُسْرِl-ʿus'ri
the hardship يُسْرًاyus'ran
(is) ease ٥
For indeed, with hardship [will be] ease [i.e., relief].
إِنَّinna
Indeed مَعَmaʿa
with ٱلْعُسْرِl-ʿus'ri
the hardship يُسْرًۭاyus'ran
(is) ease ٦
Indeed مَعَmaʿa
with ٱلْعُسْرِl-ʿus'ri
the hardship يُسْرًۭاyus'ran
(is) ease ٦
Indeed, with hardship [will be] ease.
فَإِذَاfa-idhā
So when فَرَغْتَfaraghta
you have finished فَٱنصَبْfa-inṣab
then labor hard ٧
So when فَرَغْتَfaraghta
you have finished فَٱنصَبْfa-inṣab
then labor hard ٧
So when you have finished [your duties], then stand up [for worship].
وَإِلَىٰwa-ilā
And to رَبِّكَrabbika
your Lord فَٱرْغَبfa-ir'ghab
turn your attention ٨
And to رَبِّكَrabbika
your Lord فَٱرْغَبfa-ir'ghab
turn your attention ٨
And to your Lord direct [your] longing.
