Recite & follow

Recite aloud: words light up as you reach them. In Hifz mode the text stays hidden and is revealed as you recite it correctly.

0 letters accepted · 0 illustrative ×10 · not started

Illustrative estimate only — not a guaranteed reward and not a verdict that the recitation was correct. Jami' at-Tirmidhi 2910, on sunnah.com, says a letter of the Book of Allah has a hasanah and a hasanah is tenfold; Alif, Lam and Mim are three letters. The grade line there is Hasan (Darussalam). In the same narration at-Tirmidhi calls it hasan sahih gharib. This multiplies letters the on-device aid accepted. Mistakes are not subtracted. Nothing here is a promise of what Allah records. needs scholar review

Jami' at-Tirmidhi 2910 · Hasan (Darussalam)

How the letters are counted

Counting convention: a letter is a base letter of the Uthmani word after removing vowel signs, shadda, sukun, tanwin and pause marks. Those signs are not extra letters. Ta marbuta is not folded into ha for this count. A word is counted once, when the on-device aid accepts the whole word. Uncertain words, errors, repeats and partial guesses are not added. Pause freezes the count. Resume does not count the same word again. Reset or a new session starts at zero. End shows this summary and stops adding.

Privacy: with the on-device engine, your voice never leaves this device — the model is downloaded from this site and runs in your browser. Nothing is recorded or stored.

This aid follows words. It is not a tajwid teacher and does not mark a letter inside a word unless the on-device model gives strong, stable evidence for that letter. A quiet mark means uncertain, not wrong. Learn tajwid with a qualified teacher.
